Leo and Friends
Leo and Friends was founded in honour of our son, Leo, who was born prematurely and spent 13 days in intensive care. Through this charity, we aim to support other families facing the challenges of neonatal care. From practical resources to emotional support, we’re here to help during one of life’s hardest moments. Leo’s legacy lives on in every family we reach.
I am launching the “13 Days Fighting” Burpee Challenge, taking place from 18th to 30th August. The challenge honours Leo’s strength during his 13-day fight and involves me completing a mile of burpees each day for 13 days, at 13 different locations across the UK.
The charity has been established in loving memory of our son, Leo, who was born prematurely and spent 13 precious days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in Leicester. In response to the profound care Leo received and the emotional journey our family experienced, we are committed to transforming that experience into meaningful and enduring support for other families navigating similar challenges.
